Our mango bowls are handmade from the wood of a mature mango tree, cut to revitalize one that has grown too tall.
Why mango wood? There are many different types of wood we could use, but we feel mango wood is one of a kind. Besides the beautiful aesthetic, we use mango wood in an effort to reduce negative impacts on our ecosystem. Instead of being discarded after it stops bearing fruit, we use the old mango tree wood for our products. Then, new mango trees are planted. These new mango trees now supply good, sweet mangos again.
Bamboo is the most sustainable wood and is fast-growing, absorbs carbon dioxide, and produces 30 times more oxygen than other trees. This eco-friendly product is both biodegradable and compostable. And with its naturally antibacterial properties, it is the perfect material choice for your kitchen. We keep our bamboo natural and untreated with any chemicals.
The coconut tree is known as the “tree of life” because every part of the tree can be used to sustain life. What would otherwise be discarded once the coconut is harvested is instead turned into a sustainable, unique piece for your home. Our eco-friendly coconut bowls are sanded by hand and waste-free.
Our palm wood features a beautiful all-natural pattern with fascinating color variation. It works well for food and beverages that are hot or cold, perfect for things like acai bowls, poke bowls, or anything natural like that.
